F51 – 2205 Duplex

The duplex steel market is always offering excellent opportunities for the high quality of the raw materials used for their realisation. Giuliani Metalli is regularly purchasing and selling duplex alloy scrap and turnings, including F51 steel.

F51 steel, classified as (ASTM A182) or 1.4462 (EN 10088-3) or 2205, belongs to the family of duplex or austenoferritics and it is by far the most widespread among these alloys. Just as all duplex steels, it is characterised by high resistance to corrosion and oxidation.
