Nitronic is the trade name of a series of austenitic stainless steel alloys reinforced by nitrogen.
Nitronic alloys exhibit very varied chemical compositions, but all of them are predominantly based on iron, chrome, manganese and nitrogen. The following table shows some examples thereof.
Applications also vary enormously, ranging from transports to the aircraft and space industry, surroundings at ultra-low temperatures and the marine environment.
