Monel scrap
Monel is a metal alloy, composed of nickel and copper; it is intended to identify a series of nickel alloys.
Monel 400 alloy is composed of 67% nickel and 32% copper, it exhibits good resistance to mechanical stress and corrosion as well as good weldability. It is used on marine facilities and chemical installations.
The Monel K500 alloy is obtained by adding aluminium and titanium in small quantities (respectively 2.7% and 0.5%) as well as by considerably increasing mechanical resistance.
Giuliani Metalli trades in both the purchase and sale of Monel alloy scrap and turnings and we have also great interest in evaluating proposals on re-usable bars and tubes, second-choice products or overstocks manufactured by using these alloys.
