P92/F92

P92/F92 stainless steel – A182 ASTM A335 Grade 92 (9Cr – 2W) – is a creep-resistant steel that can withstand high temperatures and, for this reason, it is also used in thermoelectric installations. This alloy is relatively recent and its utilisation is growing rapidly; thanks to its peculiarities, it is preferable to more popular alloys, just as P91, also because the execution of any part subject to creeping can be made thinner and lighter.
