17-4ph AISI 630

17/4 PH (Precipitation Hardening) is the trade name most used for the AISI 630 alloy (UNS S17400 – 1.4542 -X5CrNiCuNb16-4); it belongs to the family of PH steels and, without doubt, it is the most popular stainless steel of this group.

The main feature of 17/4 PH is to represent an excellent compromise solution between mechanical resistance and resistance to corrosion.
