Austenitic flake-graphite cast iron with high nickel and copper content (Ni-Resist family, Type 1). Non-magnetic, with excellent resistance to corrosion (seawater, acids, alkalis, salts), erosion and high temperatures; the copper of Type 1 makes it especially suited to pumps and valves in marine and chemical environments. Markets: pumps, valves, fittings, chemical, marine and petroleum industry.
