How we process personal data

Last updated: 12 June 2026

This notice describes how Giuliani Metalli processes the personal data of giulianimetalli.com users, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP).

01 · Data controller

The data controller is Giuliani Metalli, Riva Caccia 1A, 6900 Lugano (Switzerland).
Email: contacts@giulianimetalli.com · Tel: +41 91 9856992.

02 · Data we process and purposes

We only process the data you voluntarily provide through the contact and quotation forms: name, company, email address and the information you include in your message (material, quantity, pick-up area). We use it solely to answer your request and manage any resulting business relationship. Legal basis: your consent (form checkbox) and pre-contractual measures (art. 6.1 a and b GDPR). The web server also keeps technical logs (IP addresses), retained for a short period for security and diagnostics.

03 · Processing methods and recipients

Form messages are forwarded to our email address through FormSubmit.co, which acts as a mere technical relay: data passes through its servers only for delivery. The website is hosted on Hetzner servers in the European Union (Germany). Your data is never sold, shared or used for marketing or profiling.

04 · Cookies and third-party services

This website uses no profiling cookies and no analytics or tracking tools; fonts and graphic assets are served directly from our domain. The only exception: the Contacts page embeds an OpenStreetMap map; when it loads, your browser contacts the OpenStreetMap Foundation servers (which can see your IP address) under its privacy policy.

05 · Retention

Requests received by email are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any subsequent business relationship, and in any case no longer than applicable legal terms.

06 · Your rights

You may at any time request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability of your data, and withdraw your consent, by writing to contacts@giulianimetalli.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: in Switzerland the FDPIC (Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner), in the EU your national authority.
